The Illinois Civics Hub is here to support Regional Offices of Education and Intermediate Service Centers throughout the state of Illinois to prepare students for college, career, and civic life. The Illinois Civics Hub provides professional development opportunities as well as resources to support the implementation of the Illinois:

- High School Civics Course Requirements
- NEW Social Science Inquiry Standards K-12
- NEW Social Science Civics Content Standards
- NEW Media Literacy Requirement
Services provided by the Illinois Civics Hub to local educational agencies include:

- Free online professional development with leading national civic learning providers like the Bill of Rights Institute, the News Literacy Project, and the Stanford History Education Group.
- You can choose to register participants through your institution and the Illinois Civics Hub will provide you with Zoom links and evidence of participation OR you can direct participants to ROE #19 to register and earn PD hours.

- Guardians of Democracy Microcredential courses in the proven practices of civic education to provide deeper sustained learning in communities of practice.
